Maths Tests at Home to Inform and Involve Parents

The Right2Learn service delivers a series of maths tests for primary aged children in a fun and child friendly manner within the convenience of their own home. This innovative online facility, set up by teachers, provides maths practice tests matched to relevant sections of the national curriculum within each term for children aged 5 to 11. The visually stimulating maths assessment questions are set by teachers, and read out to children on timers to build their confidence when taking maths tests under timed conditions.

The tests are marked automatically and immediate feedback provided to children, along with explanation notes from teachers, enabling parents to develop their child’s understanding of the relevant maths concept. Thus, parents are able to monitor their children’s maths progress via an independent and widely used service, identify further areas to be addressed, and have the satisfaction of being able to support their own child’s development and learning at home.

In short, Right2Learn delivers the right results at the right time to allow parents to influence their children’s maths progress. Our aim is to provide an affordable and accessible service, to inform and involve parents and enable them to directly support their children’s needs in key educational areas.”
